Application Environment of Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber I

Application Environment of Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber I
Nitrile rubber (HNBR), also known as high-saturated nitrile rubber, is a modified product of hydrogenation of nitrile rubber. Since most of the butadiene segments (95% to 99%) are hydrogenated, only a small amount (1% to 5%) is retained for crosslinking, so it has the oil resistance and resistance of ordinary nitrile rubber. Solvent properties, high-saturation, high temperature resistance, aging resistance and high comprehensive mechanical properties can meet certain high performance applications.

(1) Variety grade

Hydrogenated nitrile rubber is a new type of rubber developed in response to the development of high technology in the 1980s, and soon industrialized production was put on the market.

2) Synthesis technology

Selective hydrogenation of the butadiene segments in the NBR, hydrogenation of the double bonds on most of the butadiene segments (all 1, 2 and part 1, 4 segments), leaving only a small amount (1%) ~5%) Double bonds of 1,4-butadiene for cross-linking. The specific hydrogenation operation method is that the emulsion poly-powder nitrile rubber is dissolved in a solvent to realize selective hydrogenation under the action of a lithium-based catalyst. Since the solvent consumption is large, a noble metal catalyst is used, and the reaction conditions are severe, so the price is high.
